...To cut this short in a door way at around 10 pm in the evening I saw a young man huddled in the doorway, it was pouring with rain. I had a quick discussion with myself, part of me said don't, I turned the car around and went and talked to the young man. He seemed sensible and decent just in a plight at that moment in time. I gave him my card and drove off after leaving him thinking. My phone rang the next day, he said was I genuine in what I had said the night before, I said yes. We met, he moved into an empty flat I owned for free up to  a year until he found employment. He was fed and had free use of utilities. After 4 months it was apparent he was a waste of time. It took me nearly 2 years to evict him and others he let into my property. So there you are, we have all been a bit daft in the past. I still make "Blunders". If you hit a brick wall with the Bank then message me. Do not be fobbed off.  Sincerely. R.

You say you can help the op but are not giving much away, can I ask who you are and what qualifications you have again without being rude, if you have knowledge you could share on here for everyones  benefit without them giving away all their personal details....

...id not conform to the next generation when they sadly passed away. They tried to control my life as a young man. I walked away from the "Modern" side of the family over 50 years ago, never looked back. I have done my own thing in life and retired to Spain which I much enjoy. At times there are interesting posts on this site that "catch my eye" hence me replying to certain items. I have helped several people including video calls over a period of time. The world has changed a great deal since I was young, it saddens me that a beautiful planet may be ruined by some very self centered people. It also saddens me to see the state of the UK which is ran by a bunch of Morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! allowing many people to dictate how the country now operates, well not to operate that is why the UK if she does not watch what she is doing will end up a third world country herself. I am sorry to ramble on a bit it comes naturally with age at times Gemily1. The original poster on here in a round about way declined my offer of help by saying nothing could be done. A defeatists attitude. Or maybe thinking here we go another crackpot or scam as the modern saying goes, my word to be used would be Fraud or deception. I asked several simple questions in relation as to how the money was paid/transferred or did the original poster really pay via a credit card as some people twist/alter words to suit themselves, tend to  deviate away from the actual facts. This does not mean they are lying either its just the way at times ones mind operates. I received a reply however the original poster was not "forth coming" with simple questions, leaving large "Grey areas" to fill in. Without the proper facts to hand  the original poster in a way writing off their monies they have paid because they believe what they have been told via there Bank/ a governing body. Dear Gemily1 its not a question of myself not being able to post a "what do I know about, please share this with the members",  I would have simply picked up the telephone, spoken to the Bank as anyone on the site may do however I also know how Banks operate, my life also revolved around the Banking world, the law within. Finally "got there" thank goodness I can hear everyone saying. Time for a coffee I think. My Sincere Regards. R.
