thankyou -I was zoomed off in an ambulance to a hospital in Hellin from Riopar, a beautiful region about 90 mins from Alicante inland. From thence, I eventually was given a room in a carehome near London - long story- and wrapped up in survival day by day. It worked but I lost the deadline to reg...

...ister in Spain. I receive excellent care but I'm not dead yet as long as I breathe I shall continue to pray/do/believe for/ find a way to return to Spain to live !! With ref to the Lexus, like a faithful dog waiting for the return of its master, it looks like the Brexit rules would rather see it die.

Sorry to hear about your medical emergency, glad to hear that you are now through it and seemingly back in good health.

With regards to living in Spain, you can still do this by going down the NLV route, as all people wishing to move over, and not work, are directed via this process. If your car is stored in Spain, surely you can get a flight across and either drive the car over to the UK, or arrange for a transport company to take it across? The car is far from being left in vain waiting for its owner to return, there shouldn’t be any issue in you getting across to be reunited with it?

Brexit or not - things are doable with some thought and planning, good luck 👍

aitch,

Yep, I also read timbo's previous posts before responding.  He said he'd returned to the UK because of ill-health, but didn't say how long he had been in Spain, or whether he had previously held residency here that lapsed because of his subsequent absence from Spain.  He said his docume...

...nts were with a "trusted lawyer", but gave no timescale of when/how long they had been in possession of them, or what progress, if any, had been made in that regard.

In fact, if timbo IS non-resident, and has always been so, then there is no issue with his car being in Spain on UK plates, so long as he has been complying with Spanish residency rules and has ensured that the car has received it's annual MOT when he has returned it to the UK each year.  If others want to make assumptions about what timbo has, or hasn't, been doing, that's up to them.

Kim

Its defo the same guy. He eventually didn't receive much sympathy although I do feel for him

The Non Lucrative Visa ??!! Many posts on here from people asking how the application works, if you do a search for NLV you will likely find a shed full of helpful information, even from people who have followed the process and are happily out in Spain now leading their new life…

IF this is the same poster as suggested earlier, then many people, myself included, gave many sensible suggestions as to how he could proceed to ameliorate his apparently dire situation. These were either ignored or negated as I remember, and left the impression that what was really being hoped for was unconditional financial assistance. Whilst sympathising with anyone who finds themselves in difficulties, this all does seem somewhat cloudy and bordering on unreliable.

Timbo,

so just to confirm, were you on this site previously and subsequently removed by admin?

Aitch.

yes, it would appear that I exceeded the amount of posts limit but I cannot be sure maybe it was the content -I did receive a small amount of quite cruel comments.  I am not good at this.  When I recover I will revisit it all.
