I'd ask the insurance company for which of the policies they would issue a certificate stating that the policy complies with residency requirements. It needs to be unlimited cover, including any pre-existing conditions. As John says, talk to Alfonso.
Hi Jim
You have answered previous questions on nie etc for me, you commented on my question ref health insurance do you use Alfonso? And if so have you found any limitations? The master policy seems good but is a lot less than a similar policy by asssa, we don’t want to waste money but also buy cheap buy twice comes to mind. Any info greatly appreciated
Thanks in adv

Yes to your first question, no to your second question.

I never needed insurance as I had an S1, so have no direct experience of different policies. The crucial thing, as I said, is to ensure that the provider will give you a certificate confirming that the policy meets residency requirements.
