Is there anywhere local to Javea that I may be able to buy quartz overlay worktops?

You may find that some of the stoneyards will sell 10 mm thick panels, basically for use as splash backs. They would no doubt be prepared to make what you want, but solid stone is more usual here, 20 mm thick being standard.
There are stoneyards in/near most towns.
