Unfortunately, unless you can get an EU passport (if you have recent Irish ancestry, for example), or have loads of money to qualify for a non lucrative visa, you won't be able to live and work in Spain. You could move to Ireland visa free, live and work there for 5 years and then apply for an Irish passport....... Brexit has messed up the plans of many, many people.

No it doesn't really help if your grandmother has residency.

To be able to live and work in Spain you will need to have a firm employment offer. The employer must offer any work positions to an EU citizen first by law, if nobody from the EU can fill the position then you could be lucky enough to be offered work. If so, then the prospective employer will need to apply for a work visa on your behalf and prove they cannot find an EU citizen to fill the job.

Your profession is not on the Spanish short list so it's unlikely all round.

You could apply for a non lucrative visa but you will need to find around €28,800 of income, and have full private healthcare. This visa does not allow you to work.

Hello

No , if you have a UK passport & at 20yrs of age you are making an independant application.

Cheers

The following link will take you to the Spanish Government website where you will find the current entry requirements for non EU/EEA Nationals.

In your shoes, I would try Australia. Easy to find job, better pay and life standard, English language.
