Last year the tiger mosquitos were pretty bad around Jesus Pobre area. Having just bought a place here we weren't impressed with them and could hardly sit outside. This year we arrived end of June, spent the whole of July hardly a mosquito in sight. We think great and enjoyed the outside life style. Then today 26th July we are pestered by them once more. Anyone know why they have suddenly appeared?😎😬

Hi there,
I can only imagine it's the additional heat we're getting now, and/or possibly due to their breeding cycle. Slightly concerned as have bought a place nearby for letting out!

You could be right about the heat as they suddenly appeared when the temperature went higher. We were here last year and and it was unbearable. This year its not nearly as bad. I read in one newspaper they were spaying now as tiger mosquitos were rampant on the Costa Blanca. Go luck with the property. Lovely place to live.😎
