Just wanted to welcome you to the urb! We bought a place there last year and so far, we're enjoying it. The urb is a massive place and we make a point of visiting different areas each time we visit - you'll soon find where you like and feel comfortable.  Personally, there are some places I like better than others, there's something (and room!) for everyone.  Good luck with the purchasing process - I'm sure you will keep your wits about you and double/triple check everything.  Don't take anything on trust and make sure the legality of your purchase and what you think you're buying matches the reality.  Feel free to PM me if you've any questions.  Best of luck.

Hi Steve if you are too easy you will be near the Posh Club where there is always something happening and opportunities to meet people. Also if you have any hobbies or interests there is sure to be a group you can join. I am new here and find it much easier to make friends than it is back home so come on out and enjoy youself, wecome to La Marina!

I'm like you at the moment but still hoping to make myself a permanent fixture in the very near future albeit I have had my place for about 6 years.

I love it out there and looking forward to mingling etc.

I'm looking at a potential business opportunity out there which would always needsupporting as it may be a bar which is very quiet at the moment but I need to keep busy.

I will be looking at golf as well.

I'm sure there will be plenty to do!

Thanks Geoff we also have a house in the URBwhich we use about 6 months a year . We stay 3/4 weeks at a time . Recently we’ve lost s few friends , some moved away others unfortunately passed . Wed love to join a group with different interests and the opportunity to meet new couples to dine out etc 

Hi, we moved here permanently in feb this year we’re near satellite roundabout so central (well we think so lol ) everyone friendly I think there is an ex pat meeting at sports centre Friday at 2.30 I keep meaning to go

Hi been in Spain on and off for 18 yrs , as we have a house in UK . We made friends however some have moved back to UK , sadly we have lost several . We thought there may be other people out there with similar interests , to dine out , concerts etc . A kind lady replied saying on Friday at 2.30 there is s group of expats meat at the Sports centre La Marina . Do you have any more information on the group or others . Kind regards Cecelia John 

I also seen that at consum there is a lovely pub near the ex pat solicitor that play cribbage
