I am quite shocked to hear about substandard and insufficient food.  I always thought the dogs and cats are well provided for.  Would appeals on Facebook help?

Hi,

Yes that would be a great help thanks. There is also a Facebook page called Torrevieja cat adoption that is for the cats at the shelter that you may be interested in.

Hi Ian,

I have bedding and towels that I can donate.  Regarding food, is dried the best option (I know for dogs, but I've never had a 🐈)?

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim,

Cats or dogs donations are always gratefully received. I may be Madcatwoman but also love dogs :-)

The shelter is open Mon to Friday 9 -1pm and 4-6pm and Sat 9 -1pm. It is open Sunday but as theres only a few volunteers and only open for 2 hours it can be very busy.

Thank you so much for your response and donations.

If you Google albergue de animales torrevieja you'll see where it is. Easiest to say it's on the sliproad opposite Carrefour just after the fire station.  Theres a sign there with paws on it.

Sharon 😻🐶

That's kind of you, Ian, but we're not the easiest to find and I need to go to Haberneras anyway, so I'm happy to pop into the shelter then.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hello again

Think we met up last year. I have some warm sheets that the animals might like. I live in Orihuela. Where would be a good place to meet next week?

Kind regards

Irene and Rab

Kind regards
