Hi, this doesn't answer your question, but it might perhaps give you something else to consider when making your decision...
If you plan to leave the property empty for periods of time it might be an idea to install CCTV. It can be done really cheaply now; basic four camera systems cost about £150 and are pretty easy to install, just locate the head unit near the router and track the cables to the cameras.
Or, use an IP system, where the cameras connect to the head unit via wifi or ethernet cables via powerlines plugged into wall sockets. This sort of system costs a bit more, but means cameras can be located more or less anywhere.
If you then go for always-on wifi you can connect the CCTV system to it and be able to log in and check the property from anywhere in the world with internet. Cameras can also be set up to send you an email if motion is detected. So, you can turn them off when you are there, and turn them on when away and get notified of any movement.
I use such a system, with cameras set up to check for movement, not just human, I've cameras in various places to check for water leaks etc. If a leak occurs I get a notification.
Cameras can be set to auto reboot every 12, 24, 36hrs etc. so even if one freezes (happens) you only lose a few hours of coverage.
This, of course, requires an always-on year-round internet connection, but for peace of mind and the additional security, it's may be worth considering.
