Hi guys! We always hire a car from either Alicante or Murcia airport- never had a problem…. Until now!! The price of hiring a car has gone bonkers ! So I’m asking if anyone does airport pick ups from Corvera to La Zenia on Saturday afternoon 2 nd April and back from La Zenia to Corvera airport on 15 th April in the evening

Today taxis in Barcelona went on strike, and there is a possibility that others will follow. There is no public transport available at Corvera airport, the nearest hotel is 3 mls. away.

I have used Innisfree for my transfers from Alicante on numerous occasions and can highly recommend.They are an holiday company and I believe they also do transfers from Corvera airport.They are very reasonably priced.If you go on their website you can get in touch with Brian.

A small local independent guy called Steve Hicks does airport transfers. He also rents older cars which is more than reflected in his very reasonable prices and he’s very reliable. A bonus for us that you don’t have to worry about being billed for any minor scratch you missed when picking up the car.
We hired a car in December and he was still charging €10 a day. As I said though, they will be much older cars.
