"ALL KICKING OFF Malaga chaos as expats fight and vomit in the street within days of pubs reopening after MALAGA was rocked by violence this week as expats fought in the street just two days after the port city's pubs reopened.Trouble erupted on the popular Paseo de Pedregalejo "strip" which is home to dozens of bars and restaurants. The area was packed with residents out boozing alongside what seemed to be foreigners speaking “different languages”,Bins and chairs were thrown during one brawl which broke out just 48 hours into phase one of Malaga's coronavirus exit plan.Shocking footage showed how more than a dozen drinkers became involved in the fight which left one man "wounded" on the ground.Cops were called shortly after midnight to break up the clash which was sparked by a row between two groups drinking outside a bar.But by the time they arrived the culprits had fled the scene, reports Diario Sur.The injured man did not want to file a complaint or be transferred to hospital to get checked over.STRING OF CLASHES

Local security officers then had to intervene in three further clashes in the area, reports say.

Sickened locals also told how drunken revellers were seen vomiting and urinating in the streets. They claimed they have been using alleyways off the Paseo de Pedregalejo as "toilets" because of restricted access to bar facilities. The violence in Malaga came as it was revealed six Brits were arrested over a Costa del Sol bar knife fight that left one pubgoer with horror injuries. The "Wild West-style" bar fight left one man in intensive care after being stabbed in the stomach near Marbella. The victim, also British, was found on the ground with his “guts hanging out" after the vicious brawl occurred at about 11pm on Monday in Torrenueva, a small residential area of Mijas Costa. The pub had only just reopened for terrace drinks a few hours earlier following an easing of Spain’s lockdown restrictions. The shocking scenes were a far cry from those witnessed in Benidorm when its bars re-opened after two months in lockdown.Expats were all smiles as they sipped their beers in the sun and topped up their tans after weeks in isolation. The holiday hotspot was left deserted after a mass exodus by British tourists in March, when the coronavirus crisis beganBut people have once again been seen sitting outside bars as the area moved to phase one of a four-stage recovery plan – allowing bar terraces to reopen with a limited number of people.A maximum of 10 people can sit at each table, which have to be a minimum of 6.5ft apart. The terraces can open until 11pm under an agreement reached between local trade associations and Benidorm Town Hall."

If the area goes back to Phase 0 it will at least match the average IQ.

Hi , funnily enough , I was sitting at my local bar / cafe last night and commented to my Spanish friend that the Spanish are very civilised ,and all ,young and old , on the whole being sensible and Not overdoing the drink ...several young ones sitting having a relaxed drink and conversation..And I mentioned that in the Uk it can be very different , and people will be getting rat arsed , and causing havoc by overdoing the drink ...Sad to hear  the Brits in. Malaga have. Brought  that attitude to Spain Not proud of these people ...they have no shame...We the innocent ones will be tarred by the same brush ...Disgusted, but not surprised

To be fair it's not always the English. Germans can be exactly the same. The way the English are raised makes for a unhealthy relationship with booze. I personally never have been like this and only order a caña with any meal.

I agree that the British get a bad name but there are four countries which are British. We are not all like that and it seems to be a certain few usually from one of these countries who get us all tarred with the same brush!! The majority of us are civilised.
