Google "how long can I use my UK driving licence after becoming resident in Spain?"

The insurance company may not have been given the full story as it is illegal for you to drive in Spain on a UK licence if you have been resident for 6 months ( I believe the amnesty ends 31st October this year). Unfortunately in the event of an accident all this will come out and the insurance w...

...ill be void.

Don't take my word for it but do your own research.

I have not got my TIE card yet got to pick it up.

I have printed off all the emails from the two Spanish insurance company that are going to insure her motorhome who state it legal for me to drive, so I’ll take the emails in to court.

As for research my solicitor can not see a problem, if I had a Spanish license I can drive a vehicle in any country that it’s registered in. not a man in a pub told me.

Can not find anything on N332.

Yes but get some facts together:

How long have you be a legal resident in Spain?

So as of this moment you are still a UK citizen. Because of that fact you can still use your UK driving licence until you are accepted as a Spanish resident. Your driving licence then will need to be changed.

That makes a lot of difference, you said you were a Spanish resident so my answers reflected that. I also assumed you were actually living here so until you are, you are a tourist and tourist rules apply.
Once you do get the TIE you will have to get a Spanish driving licence, as Steve says, and that could entail taking another test (rules could change).

Sorry I went to Elche police station on 20 May 2021 to do fingerprints I asked is that it yes now resident they give a lote number and told me when my lote number is reached I can come and collect it.

In June I call and the number had not reached my lote number so I had to come back the uk, but since I phoned Elche and my number had reached the number to collect I told them I was in uk until October, that’s ok you collect it then.

I did not know that I was a Spanish resident until I had my TIE card in my hand

And to get a Spanish license I’ll have take a test😂

I wouldn't worry too much they've been kicking this particular can down the road for a while, now extended to 31st October 2021.

The problem seems to be the ability, or lack of, to exchange driving licence info between the UK & Spain. I really believe that this will be negotiated/resolved soon. We were fortunate to pre register last year, before we got our TIE cards in March. We applied to exchange in March and our licences were sent out at the beginning of April. However, like you, we were in the UK and didn't pick them up until a couple of weeks ago.

BTW you became Spanish resident when you received "favourable resolution" to your residency application.

For anything to do with driving in Spain I would suggest that you look at the N332 website.   It is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people and has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code.
