Well we certainly will not be shopping in JYSK if that is how they treat their customers, and as a fellow Irish Woman now living here, I am totally disgusted by the abuse suffered by you and your wife.

Obviously there is no Management in this store, and the staff who spoke to you should be instantly dismissed.

The only way to make them realize how much they actually need the "Irish & British" trade, is if we boycott the store, no sales - no wages. Like the old saying - Hit them where it hurts - their pockets !!!!!

Once again " they need us more than we need them".

When will this condescending attitude stop?

Only(&) I've "seen" only some posted, agree by the OP (who has suffered an injury), who may or may not be liable against the international owner. As the client's suffering...... The (as clients) "us, them" & all the rest, are irrelevent. Good luck with the "OP". Villas

Im not attempting to cast doubt on the OP and im not saying the accident didnt happen. What i found a little odd about the original post is that the situation ended up with all three staff members allegedly abusing this couple. I could understand one,  maybe even two, but why all three would do so leaves me puzzled. Are we to believe that all 3 hate the British and Irish equally?

Joe, if you're keeping abreast of this maybe you could post up the detail of the conversation? And why you think all 3 took the same abusive position?

Meantime I do hope the injury heals up quickly with no after effects.

I thank all who took the time to read the post and share their experiences and post thoughtful comments. I am somewhat taken aback by some of the posts with underlying accusations of "whinging", "puzzled" "why all three took this stance", "repudiating" among others. I can assure you, as per my initial post, what I explained is what happened and how it happened. I am not going to outline the facts yet again. Both my wife and I find it quite insulting that such remarks undermined our integrity and led some to believe that they could act as judge and jury on the matter. While I explained that the falling of the box was an accident, the abuse by the three employees was not. It was completely unprovoked and vicious, particularly the female shop assistant. Thank you all once again for your kind comments. I don't think it necessary to continue to explain the incident.

I think it has been appalling that you experienced such abuse at the Shop only to be subject to further abuse and criticism by someone on this Forum who is gaining a reputation that is undoing all the good help he has given to many people.

I used to look forward to reading this forum, but recently the ganging up of some posters against others just because they dont agree with their views is really quite depressing.

If you dont agree with a post why not just say so politely and move on?

There's at least one poster carrying feelings over against RayD from another thread and an anti RayD agenda seems to have evolved. Very disappointing.
