I would agree with the above post. We bought in July this year. Aimee from Sunwold took us all around the Orihuela Costa and down to Los Alcazarez after getting a feel for the different areas she showedbus different prooerty styles. we decided on Punts Prima as it was a bit quieter and not so crowded yet plenty to do for us and within walking dustance if Playa Flamenca and La Zenia. Sunworld were great very patient and not pushy. So far have been really happy with our decision. Roll on retirement so we can spend even more time there !

We bought June this year, and almost gave up looking, but casa Manuel found us the perfect property and helped us through the whole process.. and we're not pushy at all.

We stayed in la zenia , and had eyes for playa flamenca,  really thought it's what we wanted, but too noisy and busy..

Tim at casa Manuel took us out of our comfort zone.. and we were blown away.. lomas de Cabo roig turned out perfect.. lovely bars shops all in walking distance (less than 5 mins away) and a bus stop.

But the peace and quiet when we are home..

Get advice from those that know... we would have never have found our beautiful casa had we done it ourself..

Good luck!

sorry to bother you but just one question. It is also our intention to stay in la zenia when we go over in January. Was where u syaysuitable. Thanks John.

It was just too busy. Although it's a nice place to visit.

Can I just say.. taxi in this area is a good mode of transport too.

But to live was not our taste.

We stayed in a little bungalow besides the China shop. Was lovely, will see if I still have the ladies number, she arranged everything for us, and it was in walking distance of supermarkets, and estate agents.. was lovely. Will pm you her details.

Hi John. We only bought in July  when we visited earlier this month all the reataurants and shops were open but it was a bit quieter than the summer and September but by no means dead. As fir transport. Buses are not great however there are plenty of taxis. Playa Flamenca is about a mile away and La Zenia not that much further they are all pretty close. It was a nice walk to La Zenia boulevard but we did get a taxi back with our shopping ! It was about 7€  . If you are nit going to be sriving (like us !)Torrevueja is also walkable along the coaatal path. Its abot 5km not done it yet but will on our next visit. The supermarkets do deliver which is really useful if you have water to carry and are not on the ground floor. We did a lot of research online but the apartments we saw were not to our liking due to surrounding areas so we did need to increase our budget to get some where nearer the sea and shops and restaurants. We love our apartment but just wish we could visit more often! Good luck with your search
