Hi, I am in orihuela, la zeina, calle Lope de vega. I need to see a doctor for my 86 year old mother tomorrow. Where is best to go. Not serious but a doctor needed. Most likely to get an antibiotic. Can you walk in, is an appointment needed. What doctor is good. As close as possible to my area. We often head to paddy's point, caba roig or the bolevard, all 10 minutes away. What does a doctor cost here. Many thanks Bev.

Cost is dependent on using your GHIC or travel insurance.
If using GHIC you’ll need to go to the salud , I think your nearest is in Cabo Roig. Not sure on availability as the health service in August is usually overwhelmed because of the Spanish tourists. Alternatively check with your travel insurers for a private clinic.

We used our insurance doctor phone service and they sent a prescription to the chemist in boulevard. All worked out well.
