Hi

My husband and I are planning to move to Spain as soon as we can find a little work . We are both 60 so do not want full time but just a few hours a week maybe 3 days and doing 6 hours ? open to other options . My husband has 10 years  experience as a gardener when he was younger , but has had over 25 years experience as a breakfast chef for the some company where we live . I have 43 years experience in Health and Social care , but like to clean /wash up etc nothing to taxing now. We are both healthy and much younger in our "heads" than 60 !! We were lucky enough to go to Glastonbury last year and Wow what an experience to remember . We have great senses of humour often needed this day and age . I look forward to hearing from you . Thank you for your time .

Regards Gill

Hi, good luck with your plans.

Paid employment is very hard to find and it might be worth looking at self employment.

Your husband could set up as a gardener offering regular maintenance  of gardens or pruning trees etc.  He could also offer a service delivering home cooked food.

You could clean holiday lets, offer an ironing service or generally look after other people's property.

You need to do some advertising to start with but after a while it will be all word of mouth.

All the best to you.

Kleeneze have set-up costs which needs to be thought about, as you have to pay a set up fee and pay for brochures and even alledgedly a fee to use their website to place your orders.

Some people may not mind this but it isn't a job where you go to work for an hourly rate and then go home and it's not for everyone, so best to look into it carefully and research online - See what others say.
