Hi
Does anyone know anything about the Zumba classes outdoors near La Zenia? I saw it in one of the place in the sun programmes, it wasn’t in La Zenia, but not far, I think it was around Los Altos near the beach.

Most weekday mornings at Playa Flamenca (just in front of Surfers Bar). Due to the current heatwave if they are still running I am not sure about the times. Generally you give a donation of about 3 euro.

Thanks for your reply, I watched a repeat of a place in the sun and it runs 3 mornings per week at 9.30 will give it a go.

Hi, can anyone tell me what La Zenia and Playa Flamenca is like during winter months regarding bars and beach bars and restaurants shops etc staying open? Or does it all close down?

Nothing closes during the winter months, but may open for shorter hours, as these areas are residential as well as holiday homes, obviously it is quieter, but having visited in the winter months, the areas appear to be open as usual, but shops do close on Sundays. Hope this helps.

Don’t go on any timings etc mentioned on A Place In The Sun! The programme may be a year or more old, things change quickly in Spain!
