I agree we have a gas boiler run on propane bottle normally lasts 3 month and I also have a gas hob on same bottle you can also us butane but propane is cheaper. Last bottle of propane I bought was something like 12 euros.

John 56, how do you know this?...do you mean your bill is the same when your not there...how can that be?

As promised, got our monthly Ibedrolla bill that includes three weeks when three of us were in the apartment. Lots of showers, use of washing machine, air conditioning units, ceiling fans etc. The bill is higher than our usual €25-30 at €40.67. Still not bad in our opinion.

Brilliant, thanks john that puts it into perspective. Just had notification our next bill will be 33e.  A big change since dropping to 3.45kw.

Been here two weeks and purchased a time clock, have the hot water coming on for an hour at 5am and 4pm...so far providing the two of us with all the hot water we need. .....two hours electric water heater HAS to be better than ticking over for 24nrs.
