...eople can disagree and both be capable of being respectful, people argue at times and people can disagree but it's going to far now. I have seen 3 posts recently where the poster has asked a fair question or someone has given a piece of info and they have been bombarded with insults or been called a liar.

The only way, is to find out from your neighbours what their signal strength is (and how good it is) and where it comes from i.e.the location of the suppliers aerial. that is sending the wifi to you. It only needs an obstruction between you and the sender to render the wifi useless.  Any other recommendation is based on ignorance of where you are or the subject.  Alexander.
