Our son sent us some post from the UK over six weeks ago and my daughter sent a Father Day card two weeks ago neither has arrived. We have printed labels so there's no confusion in deciphering handwriting. Our local post office at Playa Flamenca say they have nothing for us. The same happend last year but we were told the postie was on holiday and they had no cover.

Advice please
Ask for the address of the Head Correos Office in Madrid and send them a letter outlining your complaint, even better if you can get some neighbours to do the same, when we sent several letters though and behold the problem lessened and post arrives on a regular basis.

Same happened with us, my son sent registered letter which disappeared, it arrived in Spain never to be heard of again.

The same has happened to us.We live at Saint James Hill and our son sent Fathers Day card 3 weeks ago and still hasn't arrived.

We tried tracking the registered letter my son sent, we got as far as verifying it reached Spain, then it disappeared in the ether, luckily the contents were not to important.
As for sending from Spain to the UK, they do arrive though we have had letter / birthday card that was sent express delivery take ten days.

I also sent a birthday card for my grandson on Monday and it arrived in the uk on Friday.
