Another two weeks confinement...
Looks like we’ll have at least another two weeks, but not complaining.... at least it’s Decisive action. https://www.eldiario.es/politica/Sanchez-prorrogara-confinamiento-dias_0_1008599220.html

Personally I think it’s the right thing to do. And I’m impressed by the strong leadership being shown by Sánchez. I thought he was very convincing on TV again last night.
We feel much safer here than in the UK, where, from what I’ve seen today, people are still refusing to recognise the gravity of the situation and the government is still dithering about stronger measures :-/

Hi Ray
You make very good points there - and I agree completely about the deaf signers too.
I have no confidence in Johnson whatsoever. I'm not sure if it's true, but I have read that he was pressurised into taking firm action on the closure of pubs, clubs etc. by Macron.
It's almost like he's scared to make decisions that some people will not like and may cause him to topple off the crest of the Brexit wave that he is still riding...
I've been looking at UK social media today and it now looks as though a groundswell of popular opinion is building up in favour of a total lockdown and people are starting to be very critical of those not practising social distancing. Apparently it's a great day in the UK and people are still flocking to the beaches and countryside in their droves and this is causing much concern amongst many people.
I really do fear for the UK if some firm and decisive action isn't taken very soon. I watch Sanchez and he comes across as an intelligent stateman in control, but I don't feel the same when I see Johnson pleading with people to do the "right thing" and just hoping that they will.
Fingers crossed :-)

Interesting, although predictable, as Dominic Cummings is essentially running the country, with bumbling Boris as his mouthpiece!
(don't get me started, or I'll get banned from here and I've only just joined lol)
