Hi, we come out about 5-6 times a year and are thinking about buying a car maybe 5-6k euros and keeping it at the airport.
1. Any suggestions for a company to use for parking?
2. A place or dealer to buy a car?
3. How to work out the cost of road tax.

Hi, we bought a VW UP for exactly the same reason, we park at Ecoparking Alicante airport, there are others around the same price, that includes bus to and from airport (5 minutes) unlimited times per year, price for Eco is 250 euro per year, our car tax is only 23 euro however I find the insurance in Spain expensive, we pay 290 per year, last year Jennifer Cunningham was around 325.
Can't help with dealer as we bought from a rather obnoxious Brit, strangely it's only ever been Brits that try to screw you in Spain.

I too can recommend Ecoparking. Very helpful and good price.
We bought from Clubcars in La Marina. Ruth and Jack there were excellent. Really helpful throughout and I can definitely recommend http://www.clubcars.co/
Suma for car was only €40 though I don’t know the formula for how they work this out. Insurance is similar price to UK from our perspective. Good luck.
