Hi! Just a quick question, completed last week on our property, but what the problem is we changed all the locks on the doors, but we didn't receive a key for the post box which is based at the trop of the avenue, we didn't receive a large fob for the gates so we can get our car in just a key for the personal gate. Which has already caused problems. Going back in August and need to sort it out. Went to president of home association 3 times but never in. Does anyone have any suggestions please. As the previous owner is in Russia.

Regards Jackie.

If it was me I'd be back to my solicitor immediately to sort it.

First, get the solicitor to look into the post box key and gate fob.  Post boxes are generally not that difficult to break into so do that and fit a new lock if you have to (we did!).  Key fobs are usually quite expensive but the community president or administrator should be able to sort that for you ready to collect in August - if you don't have any contact details for either tell you solicitor that you need them immediately as he should be able to obtain that info for you.  The problem with August is that the admin offices are often shut or on skeleton staff as it's August and a lot of residents go away that month if they can to avoid the tourists, so best to try and sort it in advance of your visit.
