Hi, we’re staying in Los Altos without a car and are struggling to find a taxi firm who will come to Los Altos. Plenty who will do airport journeys, but no one who will take us to the water park for example. Can anyone suggest anyone?
Hi. I've got a place in Los Altos and I use Radio Taxis Torrevieja on 00 34 965 712 277 (that code if you're calling on a UK mobile). I've found them really reliable. The problem I have found with taxis is that they will take you to wherever you want to go but can't always bring you back as they can only go within a certain boundary. For example I went to La Zenia beach but that taxi firm couldn't come get me and had to ask at a restaurant for a local number. Its something to do with being fair on other companies I believe. The waterpark - if it is the one near Las Habaneras might be ok for return but check with them. If you ever go to La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre then there are taxis on the rank so not a problem and they will take you to Los Altos. Also, once we were a party of 5 so you have to ask for a big taxi or order two! Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forum, I have a apartment in La florida and use Radio Taxi Orihuela Costa, Tel +34 966 76 10 88.
I have called them to pick me up from Via park 3, Los Altos, and Punta prima, these are the cars that sit at La Zenia boulevard and all the ranks in this area.
I saw Torreveija taxis dropping people off last week at La Zenia boulevard though they then drove past the rank without stopping to pick up, I was in the queue for 30 mins.
