Hi. I've not found any in Los Altos but there are a couple of markets. One on Fridays in Torrevieja and another on Saturdays at Playa Flamenca. Lots of stalls and so cheap compared to prices in the UK!

Many thanks

Regards

Hi Nigella

Playa Flamenca is the closest to you, but I seem to remember that you don't have a car, and the local minibus doesn't run at weekends!

However, there is a market in Cabo Roig on Thursdays. If you catch the bus to La Zenia Boulevard and change to the other minibus (using the same ticket), the 2nd minibus terminates at the entrance to the market.

Cheers

Steve

Thank you Steve you seem very helpful.

Many thanks again

Hi Steve,

Please can you let me know where I can catch the Bus to La Zenia Boulevard.

We are still getting our bearings around Los Altos Via Park III, as we just do short trips out to Spain, as we work so our annual leave we get they are spent solely to go out to our place in Spain.

We have still not been able to find the Bus Stop to La Zenia Boulevard so have been taking Taxis…

Please can you advise

Many thanks

Hi

It's been a long time since I used the bus, and I'm sure the route has changed since, so I'm not sure where the stops are.

I suggest you get a taxi to the Boulevard, but then get the bus back, after which you will have more knowledge. The bus leaves from the bus stop outside the main entrance, right next to the taxi rank. Take the one that goes to the hospital. Here's the timetable http://costazul.net/lineas-urbanas/c-c-la-zenia-boulevard-hospital-de-torrevieja/

It's a flat rate fair, 1.5 euros I think.

Cheers

Steve

Hi there is a bus stop across the road from consum and also one beside Via Park III. It comes from the hospital. It costs €1.50 each or if you buy a card from the driver it costs €1.20. You can top up the card anytime .
