That is really helpful thank you!  We are flying back from Spain spending 1 night in uk hotel and flying out to Cyprus next day so not physically here for day 2 test.  We are fully vaccinated uk residents. Has anyone done similar please and if so did you take test on arrival at airport ...

...or just booked day 2 test for PLF code but not take it? Many thanks as getting confused what should do

Hi Suzanne

what you describe sounds more like transiting through the UK, take a look at the guidelines on Gov.UK.

Even though you are staying in a hotel overnight you would be in transit so you might be able to avoid having to do any test in the UK.

Hi Aitch

Thank you very much for finding that link that does sound like our situation so thank you very much😀 thanks to brexit we have to leave Spain for 3 months so found out Cyprus does not count towards our 90 days limit so going there 3 months and back to Spain in April.  Not complaining as definitely worse problems to have😀😀thank you agsin
