I know of both areas, they are fine but a better choice in my opinion would be La Florida, central to everything.

Plenty of bars/restaurants which do not close down in the winter, on the small bus route for access to La Zenia Boulevard, Playa Flamenca beach, Torrevieja hospital, a newly built college/school at the bottom of the road and lots more.

Maybe you have already had a look at La Florida? but if not I would give it a try before you make any decisions.

I have had a holiday home there for 17yrs and love the area, so yes I suppose I am biased towards La Florida but there are many different nationalities who live here and the area has a nice community feel to it.

Good luck with your move in January.
