Hello everyone my name is Jill and I have just bought a little house in Mil Palmeras.  I am very exited to be joining the Mil Palmeras group and hope to be signed up by the end of April.  My question is what is the best and cheapest way to get from Alicante airport.  We have done a few ways i.e taxi and bus but wondered if there is a better way as it seems to be taking us forever to get to where we need to be.  Any other tips and advice regarding holidaying  in Mil Palmeras would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Jill

Hi

Mil Palmeras is quite a long way from Alicante airport, and taxi or bus or a combination of the two are the only options that I'm aware of.

Murcia airport is much closer if you can get a flight, but there are no buses. I'm not sure about availability of taxis.

Or you could hire a car (from either airport).

Cheers

Hello Jill

You can get a designated airort bus as far as Torrevieja & then choose your onward journey. The bus has a regular timetable, its 7euros per person & takes just over an hour as it doesnt stop anywhere else/

You would need to ask a taxi driver (outside bus station( what the cost would be, or find out locally if there is a bus)

Cheers

I have often used Innisfree travel..most I've paid is 50 euros when traveling on my own to Lomas de cabo roig but it can be as little as 20 euros for one  person if theres a van load..gets you there in an hour.I recommend them door to door pick up.
