Please does anybody know where and if Spain are doing booster jabs for the over 50s?

I have a temporary SIP card.

The most recent statement I´ve seen is that Spain plans to provide booster jabs to people aged 60 and above, but as the EU has asked member states to consider boosters for all eligible citizens/residents, I would hope it´s just a matter of time before that is announced too.

Kind regards,

Kim

I was told by a doctor at the hospital to have my booster jab asap. So went to Medical centre Caba Roij, waited over an hour, to be told only 70´s

I was told the same thing at Cabo Roig MC over 70s only, that's the problem with the different regions setting their own rules no consistency or clarity. The regions may find events overtake them if the Omicron variant takes hold here in Spain and will need to up their game. My husbands booster at Cabo Roig MC is booked for 15th Feb 2022.

Hi

My nurse at Cabo Roig also said "over 70s" - and pointed out that, for the area served by Cabo Roig, that's almost everybody! I count as one of the youngest patients, at the age of 58! Lol!

Cheers

Hi I think it must depend whereabouts you live. I was 60 on 20th November and whilst getting my flu jab last Friday the doctor told me I will be receiving an SMS next week for my covid booster. I’m in Salinas as near Sax and all the 70s are done.
