Hi I think it must depend whereabouts you live. I was 60 on 20th November and whilst getting my flu jab last Friday the doctor told me I will be receiving an SMS next week for my covid booster. I’m in Salinas as near Sax and all the 70s are done.

thanks, Cheryl, you are lucky to live in the right place....of course at the right time....

My husband and I are 64 and 61 respectively.  We went into our local health centre at Rojales on Friday and they told us to come back in 2 weeks´ time to make an appointment for our boosters.

Kind regards,

Kim

I was told the same thing at Cabo Roig MC over 70s only, that's the problem with the different regions setting their own rules no consistency or clarity. The regions may find events overtake them if the Omicron variant takes hold here in Spain and will need to up their game. My husbands booster at...

... Cabo Roig MC is booked for 15th Feb 2022.

My wife and I are booked for our booster 2 February we are both in our 70s it's only in

Cabo Roig you have to wait so long

As I have said before Cabo Riog MC is badly run, disorganised, basically a shambles.

Any vaccines arriving this week are being given to the 5-11 year olds.

Morning, I don’t know if this will help but Sax Centro Salud are rolling out the booster this week. Maybe you could enquire if it is possible to come to Sax to be boostered? just a thought. Hope this helps. I’ve added a photo of the poster.

Please does anybody know where and if Spain are doing booster jabs for the over 50s?

I have a temporary SIP card.

My husband I are both over 70 and live in the Torrevieja region, both fiscal residents but have heard nothing re having a booster ?

Does anybody know what is going on ?

You have to go to your local health centre to make an appointment, they will NOT call you.

We went to San Luis HC this morning for my wife 67, They said "Not yet!"

Blimey I feel so lucky living in Salinas near Sax. They are so organised. SMS message sent to me this morning with appointment this Thursday for booster. (I am just turned 60).
There seems to be such a variation in the system depending where you live.

Good luck everyone, I hope you are all boostered soon. Stay safe.
