Have you got a UK or an EU passport?

Have you applied for a visa to be able to move to Spain?

Firstly welcome to the area.

Relatively new here too and bought furnished so cannot help with much but we have found liberty seguros good for both vehicle and house insurance. 

That said if you are new to Spain and opening up a bank account a lot of them will give you a free account if you take out another product with them eg insurance.

Hi Emma, and welcome to Monover. Quite a list but here goes...we were all in the same boat ...

Home and contents insurance - we did ours through Sabadel and that now being a 2nd product, do not pay charges. Speak to Nuria in the Pinoso branch. Monover branch has a good following too.

Healthcare insurance for the whole family - good experience with Salus and Maria Cairns

Car insurance providers - we use Liberty Seguros and they do good 'all in' assistance packages as part of the cover

Places to buy a used car - we haven't as yet as we had the UK car replated, but are thinking of buying a left hand drive....FWR Euro Cars  cars in Alicante have a good following, and stock see https://www.fwreurocars.com/index.html

Decent nursery's - Primary school's and high school's - sorry, can't help but post / join Pinoso Community FB group, someone there will know. Just answer the entry questions and we will get you in.

Places to purchase used household items, including kitchen cupboards, units, bed frames, bathroom sinks etc (I plan to gut the house over the years) - Second2None in Guardermar...plus the local FB sites (buy / sell help ones)

Man/Woman with a van to dispose of unwanted things/rubbish - Jose re skips on +34 697 867 341 and use WhatsApp, David Squire(s) for collection of metals. We don't have an eco-parc in Monover so it is DIY. We stand items by the green bins on this road and they are collected.

Places to hire tools - not sure, may depend on what you need. There is everything from digger tractors to chainsaws.

Childminders - soz, too old for that one here...but certainly the Pinosos Community will know. Just be careful and make sure they are licensed.

Will writers/Funeral plans - Angela at AP Abogados on 868 053 061 who runs the company. John does the wills. They did ours. Painless experience. Mirror it to your UK will if you have such and any assets over there. This one will cover your Spanish assets and it is needed.

A good financial service provider/solicitors - Angela at AP Abogados as solicitors 868 053 061 . Depends which financial services you need. Investment here isn't great or have good interest rates. Start with Janet and Jane at TFX in the town square in Pinoso. They are not IFAs but probably know people and their services are comprehensive.

Where to learn Spanish - we haven't cracked this one yet but Kurtis Wood has a very good following. Join Pinoso Community and hit the search button ;-)

Places to horse ride - where to buy a horse and everything needed to own a private horse in Spain - wow, way out out my depth but a lot of people on the PC site have horses and would help

Doctor's details (are there rules on how far away they can be)?  We have private healthcare at the moment until I retire and it comes with a huge catalogue of contacts. It doesn't work the same as the UK (as in you don't register at a Doctors), so your Centro de Salud in Monover is a first call if retired and have an S1, or for jabs...and your SIP card

Where to get a boiler and have it installed - Leroys probably best, but get the plumber first. PM me and I can send a list.
