More like 10 euro a month if you are non resident.

We are not paying that, or anything as we took the house insurance out with them. The competition wasn't very different.
Talk to the bank. Sabadel in Pinoso are great. Nuria is multi-lingual and everything is printed in both languages. Useful.

No problem. Pinoso is just 10 minutes up the road from us, so not much different in terms of travel time to Alicante.
It is nice, a bit flatter in general terms and more UK ex-pats. There are good bars and we bank there at Sabadel who are multi-lingual, as is our currency exchange company across the square as currencies4you. Nice people. Also helped with our car import.
You would be pretty close to most things. Yecla, Elde, Monovar, Sax etc
Not advertising but talk to Paula, Gary, Mike and James at Alicante Dream Homes...they will show you around stress free and you will understand the area better, plus prices. They are not pushy. I like them.

Hope you make it, whatever you choose...

I know this is an old post but that's a really useful tip about the insurance and bank charges, we need house insurance and our bank charges are very high, we also bank with Sabadell in Pinoso so I'll call in this week.

Hi Paul,
2 factors that we found to work here...the Cuenta Expansion Premium account with Sabadell, in fact Nuria suggested it, which only needs 700 euros transferred into it per month (we can and will until the UK pension kicks in and then continued from there) , then the second being your currency exchange company of choice. If they use Swift transfers as TFX now do, then no charge at any end.
Seems to work, even as of last week.
Best wishes,
Dave
