If I lived in the UK I wouldn’t trust a thing the current regime in England give, all they are good for is giving contracts worth millions to provide products and services to their friends and relatives!

Can you explain who and in what way someone is being ignorant? I think an understanding of the issues is being demonstrated in order to inform decisions, which is far from ignorance.
Some may know better than the FCO (including staff of the FCO themselves!) but they would still have to put out edicts at the behest of the Government - no matter how ill thought out, lacking in granularity or duplicitous they felt their rationale to be. Unfortunately they are far from an independent body and blind acceptance of their guidance probably shows a greater ignorance.

Absolutely agree. Anyone with more than two neurons who has watched the government and scientific advice change and conflict in the political winds must surely take it with a pinch of salt. Why 20 people at a funeral but 100 in a pub? Return to work but avoid public transport? Discharging old folks with diagnosed Covid to care homes. Open borders at height of pandemic? Nightingale hospitals empty and no staff anyway. Yup....I'm hanging on to every word of wisdom coming from Govt

I am an NHS Nurse and have worked all through lockdown! I have just returned from Moraira after a much needed break and it was wonderful. I am now in quarantine and working from home - but it was worth it.
It is very hot wearing a mask and a bit inconvenient, but has to be done. 😊
How does a nurse work from home??

Yes....we're all quite interested in this concept. More back office nursing than front line I guess?
