It will be lovely at Easter time. I doubt I will have completed by then but can't wait.

What part of moraira are you in?

Christine

Hi,

Just outside Moraira in Valle Del Portet. We love it and spend far too much time checking out the webcam and wishing ourselves back there.

Hi. We are looking into moving to Moraira. Our biggest concern is healthcare as my husband has a heart condition. Does anyone on this forum have any experience of the hospital out there?

We completed last May but have only managed to get out there twice.  Can't wait till Easter when we are next out.

Hi Cathie sorry to intrude on this post. I notice you recently bought in Moraira a process which we are currently going through.  Just wondered which lawyer you used and if you could recommend. Seems to be a lot and would rather use one recommended.  Appreciate advice?

Probably a bit late for you now but we used Ingrid Hardwick at HR Services in Moraira.  We didn’t have any problems and have since used them to pay our bills as we do not live there permanently.

We bought a house in El Portet three weeks ago. It needs a complete renovation and have engaged English builders who have been very helpful. First time we have bought in Spain so has been an experience. We love Moraira. Best location in the Costa Blanca.

Thank you. We were working blind and went with Romeu in Moraira. So far so good. We will need to employ someone for payment of bills, taxes, etc good to have a recommendation.

We used TLA Corp.  The cost was reasonable and they seem to have done a good job.  They also spoke good English.  They were recommended by our estate agents who use them frequently.

We talked to a few but eventually went with A&M Builders (based in Xabia).  Andy is English and has been doing reforms and builds for 17 years.  He has been very helpful, gave good advice and helped with the clearance.  They are not the cheapest but are rated highly.  They are due to start work towards the end of September so we will see!  We felt we could work with Andy as opposed to the others we spoke to. Feel he will do a good job but we will see!!
