We bought last year in La Mata, further South. Our solicitor set up all of our direct debits to pay our electric, water, community fees, suma and even our non residents tax. We gave power of attorney when we were buying . We don't need to worry about paying any of these bills.
There is a good furniture shop in Bentaxchell at the bottom of the main street called Marques Mobles. It is not the cheapest but lovely furniture and helpful manager who speaks good English. We have also bought beds from The Bed Shop in Xabia. The shop is owned by an English couple and the manager was extremely helpful. Also we found the prices in the Bed Shop competitive.

My wife and I moved here in February....what's not to like ! Multi cultureal great food many options happy people oh yes and the sun shines please let me know if you need any pointers advice or even local knowledge but it fun exploring for your selves
