Margaret read quite a lot, and had a large collection of books. Many of these are light-hearted stuff, but there is quite a lot of non-fiction - like the Peter Mayle Provence books, Yorkshire Shepardess, etc. There is a total of 952 books.

I've uploaded a folder with the full collection to Google Drive. The size of the folder is 1 GB, so it will take some time to download if you want the lot. The download link is:

If you go to that link, you'll see a folder for every author. If you hover on a folder, you'll see a download icon appear. If you click that, Drive zips the file and enables you to download it. Once downloaded, just right-click on it and tell it to extract.

If you do download the books and find them useful, please consider a donation in Margaret's name.

The download link won't be live indefinitely, as I'll need the space for something else in the near future.

I’d like to download, thank you. I notice that they are Kindle books. Is there anyway I can transfer them to my Kindle after downloading? Not very techie! 🤪🥂

Hi Ange. Depends what you use. If it's a Windows computer, plug the Kindle into the computer with a USB lead.

In Windows Explorer or File Explorer, navigate to wherever you downloaded a books folder to, and open that folder to see the books.

Right-click on and copy the book(s)..

In Windows Explorer or File Explorer, navigate to the Kindle documents folder.

Right-click and paste.

Depending on how old the Kindle is, you might need to restart it for the books to show.

I'll go into more detail if you have a problem, but busy at the moment.

load Kaliber...its free...great manager tool...converts also...indexes etc...doesnt take long to master...try it..

I totally agree - it's a fantastic program, free, tons of configuration options, and you can add nifty plug-ins, like one to remove the DRM from a book you've bought so you can pass it in to someone else to read.

sorry for the miss spell...calibre...cant believe such a handy prog is free...the idea is to let calibre hold all your books then hit ...transfer to device...to load to the kindle...if asked to convert then do that as kindle uses epub format...mobi is another format...you can troll the net for books on the likes of Pirate Bay, 1337x, limetorrents etc which is not really legal but fun...i only read factual so i am a huge Bill Bryson fan...his latest tome is...The Body, a guide for occupants....amazing facts...
