Hi all. It's my 1st post on the forum and I'm sure I'll find all the information very useful. We're a British family but we've been living here in Bulgaria for just over 10 years now. Over the years we've been dismayed by the lack of improvement to the most important parts of the infrastructure, ...

...the health system being at the top of our list. It's basically in a critical state.

We're thinking seriously about relocating to Spain, and the Oliva area looks very tempting to us. Can anyone recommend a good estate agent and if so could I have their website address please?

We've been looking on Rightmove and the prices seem to be too good to be true so we just wanted to get some advice from those of you that have already bought over there.

Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance :)

Casitas in Pego. Excellent. Sonia who is an agent there can not help enough and she sorts everything out for you when you buy.

Thanks nickmb! I had a look at their website and they have some good properties within our budget.

Hi Les. I've heard about this going on, it's the same over here in Bulgaria. Thanks very much for telling me!

Hi and welcome to the Forum. Agree you should try more than one estate agent. We bought last year and eventually went with OLE International.  They were so helpful and Mark took us to look at lots of properties, picking us up and dropping us back at the apartment we were renting each day, without trying to pressure us in any way. He took time to show us round the areas/amenities the properties were located in, and when we decided on a property, he and other staff in the Villamartin office dealt with everything for us.

Good luck.

Jackie

Hi Jackie! Thanks very much for your reply. I am looking at OLE International website now and I've already seen some properties that I like the look of, both price and area. I will get in touch with them and see how it goes.

Thanks again

Darren

I can recommend Oranges and Lemons, they are a relatively small company with excellent personal service.

We are buying a house near Oliva and used Hello2Spain and they were excellent. They are a small, originaly British agent who know the area really well. They were really helpful and have gone the extra  mile to help us. [email protected]

I completely agree, Vanessa has been brilliant throughout our whole house hunting process.
