I currently live in Bulgaria and we want to leave after 11 years of being here. We are between going back to the UK or if Spain will have us, we would prefer that.
Here in Bulgaria the residency process just requires us to provide a bank statement showing a balance of the equivalent of 1-month average earning each. That amounts to around 400 Euros each or so. It's very simple but our residency expires in March and we don't want to renew it here.

No but you do need an address, if rented a rent book, if house owned then copy of first few pages of escriturua, and NIE number
