Hello, does anyone know where you can buy reclaimation furniture/old doors etc
Restoring an old town house and keen to restore original fittings, doors etc. Are there any reclamation yards etc that anyone is aware of?

There are several on the N332 between Ondara and Calpe, fairly spread out, and they look like small junk yards. Much of the stuff is in very poor condition and the prices are nowhere near as reasonable as they used to be; however, you may be lucky.

Hi Tony, still looking. Will keep you posted. There were a couple of things at the Sunday market in Pedreguer. I have started to flag up to our Spanish neighbours if they hear of anyone doing house clearances.

Did you manage to find a decent reclamation yard in the Oliva or Gandia area? We also need to buy some old house fittings so would appreciate the details of any that you find.
I can recommend looking at the various rastros, especially at Pedreguer and El Verger, we have picked up a few things from them. Also the reclaim yard on N322 from Pedreguer towards Javea/Xabia.
With all of the falling down houses around this area, and especially in places like Ontinyent, I would have expected to see a good quality large yard somewhere close by.

Hello Gail, apart from the above you have mentioned we’ve not had much luck! There were a couple of places in Valencia- but they weren’t great. Now resorting to sourcing on internet and driving them over!
