I have purchased an internet booster to help the WI-FI signal through a wall to enable my laptop to be set up with the printer. As I have no idea concerning IT I need help. Does anyone know someone who can come to my home to help install.

Instead of a "booster" better think of a "repeater", i.e. you won't get higher speed. Connecting a printer is easy, just take a moment and read the users manual. Depending on your OS and printer age it's all in the game. Usually printers are sold including software for proper intsallation, just follow the instructions. Windows 10 will automatically install most modern printers, however, older models may not be supported. Find out what is a "driver" and download from the manufacturer's page the one you need for your printer to connect to your OS. Good luck, we all had to go through this.
