Just took possession of our holiday home in Orxeta and need information about waste collection. Do I need special bags, bins or any plastic shopping bag will suffice? What are the collection days? I see recycling bins in town so that's clear, just wondering about general garbage.

There is no rubbish collection it is all done using the large bins in the town.
Green - general waste
Yellow - plastic and metal waste
Blue - cardboard and paper
Glass waste is in the green different shaped bins.
There are lots of these bins throughout the town.

We moved to Orxeta just over a year ago, then went straight into Lockdown. Would love to meet up sometime- are you in Orxeta now?
