Hello Everyone
Got a question, I own a German shepherd dog who needs plenty of exercise daily. Where would you recommend I use in the Orihuela costa area. Thanks

Regretably t is not possible. By law all dogs in public places must be kept on a lead and muzzled if they are considered dangerous or of a certain breed. They are also not allowed on beaches.
Hi, Kaiser.
I do not know how far it would be for you, but there is a very large doggie park near Aldi in Quesada. which is well used (in cooler times !)
We take our dog there most days when its cooler and he loves it. Normally quite a few other dogs in park, which is divided into two sections, one for small breeds, and the larger park for the larger canine friends. No charges.
Cheers
Cleo (alias Scruffy !)

Hi there,
You can go everywhere that it is permitted for dogs to be. BUT if he needs a lot of exercise you will get a lot of exercise, as you must exercise him on a lead.
Beach: there are dog beaches all over Spain now, you just need to google "playa de perros".
There are also dog parks in many places, again google your area.
Lots of people with dogs live here and have no problems.
Good luck, J

Campoamor by the stables. Miles of open land you can walk for hours up the river bed. And dogs run free.

Hi Kaiser,
There's a fully enclosed dog park at the top end of Parque Los Balcones on Avenida de la Asunción in Los Balcones, Torrevieja, about 5 minutes drive inland from Torrevieja Hospital. It's not huge, but it has a fair bit of agility kit for the woofs to play around.
Kind regards,
Kim
