What is the easiest way to go to Valencia by public transport from villa Martin

Get a bus to Alicante bus station, walk to the train station, its not very far and get the train to Valencia. Alternatively, if the private bus companies start doing their trips again, check whether they have trip to Valencia. I did it on a day trip a few years ago but, picking up on the way makes it too far so 2nd time I did a bus trip with 3nights accomodation.
