Bear in mind a special transfer tax on used vehicles depending on make and age but not on shape and condition. To register on your name you have to prove residency (padron) and pay road tax determined by your Council.

You don't need to be on the padron to own a car in Spain or be resident.

? Have you bought a car in Spain before, and know the pitfalls,there is a buyers sellers contract which you as buyer need to know any debts legal ownership there passport id etc, when I bought a2k car I paid 175 ish transfer fee to a professional to make sure it was legal that included Spanish taxes etc
