Hi Shav,

You can download it from this website:

https://coronavirus.san.gva.es/es/certificado-digital-ue

You'll need your SIP number, date of issue of your SIP card and the Spanish mobile number registered with your health centre, as the application process includes receiving verification codes to your phone.  It's pretty straightforward and you can download the certificate to your mobile or PC in a few minutes.

Kind regards,

Kim

So does anyone know how tourists, or people without a SIP number get a covid passport? Or do they just have to go to bars with an internal capacity of under 50?

Where did you have your vaccination done. If it was the UK then you can download the info from the NHS website I believe. If it was Spain, then you must surely have had a temporary sip number to receive the vaccination.

I had mine in UK and can download the NHS pass. That's great, if the NHS covid pass is acceptable, but im not sure if it is, given that Spanish Nationals must have online access to EU covid pass, but are being asked to apply for this (I assume different) version, in order to attend bars with an internal capacity in excess of 50.

...nternal capacity in excess of 50.

The bars/restaurants  have been given an app to read the  QR code on a Covid Passport.

If you were jabbed in the U.K. and  have a printed pdf it must be dated later than 1st November.

The technology was changed on that date so that the NHS pass could be read by EU code readers.

The NHS app automatically generates a QR code which you need to refresh to keep the code valid.

So yes  NHS covid passes are acceptable in conjunction with the photographic ID, which you legally should be carrying.
