Meeting passengers at Alicante airport

Can anyone tell me the latest on meeting family within Alicante Airport, are you allowed in the terminal building?

We met a relative a few days ago. Everything was normal, although there are some building works right by the passenger exit to the arrivals hall.

I was there last week meeting family and all is pretty much normal !
It seems all the coffee shops/cafes are open too.

Flew in this morning and had family meet us at the arrival section no problem
