We have just bought a place on Vistabella Golf and hope to be out at least 5 tlmes a year. Who are the best for car hire, fully insured without having to block huge amounts on a credit card. We would want to pick up and drop off at Alicante airport.

We use Centauro. They are at the airport rather than off airport. We use the premium package which doesn't require a vehicle deposit, provides zero excess & has always been fine.
After a few rentals you will make their gold club which is a 10% discount from future rentals & if available an upgrade.
We book online.

Hi Gaz, just read your post about car hire. We have used Drivalia many times. They are excellent (no added extras). Using their ULTIMATE package it covers everything. Good luck in your new home...
