Hi all, coming over to our property in Villamartin early feb and want to insure the vehicle we bought at same time, saw a few posts they were 3 or 4 years old, just wondering what I should be expecting to pay for fully comp, it's a 2012 Opel Corsa diesel.

Dunno Steve, like in the UK there will be other factors at play Im sure.

€400 is probably in the ball park.
It's worth noting that there's a good chance that a 2012 diesel may not qualify for an emissions sticker meaning it will be barred from entering the low emission zones which all towns in Spain with 50,000+ inhabitants are obliged to introduce this year.

Hi,
I pay 320euro for a 2012 Seat Altea 1.6 diesel, would imagine your car will be similar but would depend upon your driving record.
I use Abbeygate insurance, Jennifer Cunningham is another popular choice for many. Call them of email to get a quote before you get here.

We just purchased a 2018 Citroen C3 and insured through Ibex insurance and it was just under €400 for the year. Here's their info:

Steve, since I assume your car is for driving while you are in Spain and you don't live here permanently, it might be worthwhile to give Right Move Insurance a call. They are on Calle Niagra, edifico Mira Flores III. They have an insurance which is specifically for those not living permanently in Spain. Because you are not driving 12 months of the year it is cheaper. Their telephone number is 0034 965325242.
