If you are on the padron they should send you a letter asking if you want to go on the electoral roll. Just sign it and post it in the prepaid envelope.

The letters asking if you wish to vote in local elections from your local town hall usually come out in about January of the year in which the election is to take place. You can only vote in local elections, not in national ones.

We are on the Padron but never received any letter to vote or asking if we want to be added to the electoral register. I’ll take it up with our TownHall thank you.

...law to campaign for something like 15 days before an election. In the U.K. we were inundated with campaign bumf. This lack of info is something which needs to be addressed before the next election. Perhaps this forum will accept and post the manifestos in future?
If you watch Spanish television there is lots of information about all the parties.
Talk to your Spanish neighbours,read a spanish newspaper.
