We have a holiday home in Cabo Roig which is alarmed by Securitas.  However, their charges are going up year by year and we are now paying almost €60 per month.  The engineer called today to change the camera batteries and told our keyholder we need a door sensor at a charge of €120 installation charge and €4 per month (never been mentioned in the 11 years we've had the alarm).  I feel their charges are getting ridiculous so was wondering if anyone can recommend another company who fits and monitors alarms.  Thanks

Thanks very much.  Unfortunately doesn't look like this is a monitored alarm, you have to ring the police yourself and with us not being residents we would prefer to have a company who would sort all that.  I could be wrong but couldn't see anything on their website

Hi,

The place where I work is changing from Securitas to Prosegur today as they provide a better service at a lower cost. You could always ask them to pop round and give you a quote.

Hi, thanks for that I will do.  We aren't back until March so will get in touch then.  Do they monitor alarm when you're not there?

Hi,

Yes they do. You'll find a lot of information on their website www.prosegur.es.
